Visual Contacts App Reviews

Visual Contacts does what it says, it puts your contacts pictures right up front where you can easily see and find a contact. But Im sure many of you have noticed that your custom ringtones disappeared and it has assigned all your contacts to the default ringtone or one of the preinstalled ringtones that came with the phone. As a matter of fact it doesnt even show your custom ringtones that are installed on your phone. It would have been better business if GRC told us in advance of taking our .99 cents that Visual Contacts would indeed take this feature away. However, there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. After experimenting I found if I went back to the original Contacts and assigned the ringtone there it still worked regardless of what Visual Contacts displays as the ringtone. If GRC fixes this error then I would easily give it 5 stars. Until then you only get 3.

It is a great idea and it seemed to work . Then I tried to load a few days later and nothing. It just kept crashing and once again I have to ask for a refund! It is a shame because I really loves te idea! Please update and I can redownload! Waiting?

It does what it says simple and easily. No set up required. You launch the app and your photo icons of your contacts are all there in list view. Another thing I LIKE about this app is that it is not cluttered with options and extra features that would just complicate its simplicity. IT WORKS JUST LIKE CONTACTS. I will continue using Visual Contacts. Definetely worth a $1 or 2.

Make it work just like the built in contacts so it accesses within the phone button contacts list. Its nearly useless since it doesnt replace anything. You wont use it much. I dont think its really worth the price - IF they will fix it to work within the phone button or simply replace the whole phone button so I can ad the icon to the main launch-bar (replaing the phone icon) then it will get a higher score and better review from me. Get to work people... its worth putting in some cycles if you want it to be the app it could be.

I do like this, I think it is a simple app and does what it says it is suppose to do, so that is a plus. However I wish you could make it take place of the existing phoneboob thats already on the iPhone, this would take up less space. @I_phone_Junkie Twitter me!

Works like it says, but it does not replace your actual Contacts app nor does it come up under phone app...junk

So much easier to find your contacts! Group option is nifty when I use texts too so I can narrow who I want to do the mass text!

Apple should have made this standard, but they didnt. Does just what I need it to do.

Need a update on a bug unless it is just my iPod 

This application is awful. It works only if I scroll through my contacts slowly, otherwise it crashes. I would advise others to NOT buy this app. Hopefully this problem will fix itself after continuous updates...

Its alright but I guess doesnt read transparent backgrounds and merges images to ones that font use the full space available... Odd... Otherwise an alright program.

Hood app but would be great if it reminded us birthdays... Something the default app should do.

Keep the updates coming Guys, if posible please integrate to phone App so you you can see the pictures there too. I like the update the software is bullet fast now wooohoooo  Five Star !!!

Definitely nice to finally have pictures next to the names - what else would be the point of even having the pictures! I just wish it would sync with my Exchange account (aka my Gmail contacts) every time I start the app, just like the default contacts app does. And I dont really need that translucent bar at the bottom, it just takes away screen real estate. Look forward to the next update!

I was really excited about this app till I realized you have to use the generic ringtones for iphone. You are unable to use personalized ringtones. I like using my personal ringtones as a way to screen my calls. This would be a great update. PLEASE!

I think this app need new nicer icon and no transparent bottom bar...
